The main characteristic of this hotplate is its versatility, as it allows you to cook meat, fish and vegetables with extreme ease. The mild steel version is the most popular thanks to its lower purchase cost and extreme versatility of use, while the harder chrome version offers easier maintenance of the hotplate thanks to its non-stick effect. On the other hand, the chrome plate, heating mainly by contact, is not recommended for cooking food with a large thickness or with rounded surfaces such as meat steaks and sausages.
